It is not easy to find marmalade in the market. Even if so, it is expensive. Now, let’s make your home-made marmalade.


INGREDIENTS

Orange600 g, Sugar300 g, Lemon30 g

TIPIt’s important to boil the marmalade down at a low temperature until it is not spread out in cold water. In baking cookies or cakes, you can replace sugar with this marmalade.

METHOD

  1. Find seedless oranges. Rinse oranges with baking soda and hot water; and peel them off.
  2. Remove the white peels from oranges; and thinly sliced yellow peels.
  3. Put the flesh into the container and blend.
  4. Put the ground orange, sliced yellow peels, sugar and lemon extract on a thick-bottomed pot; cook at a low temperature. Keep stirring the pot.
  5. Boil down the mix until you get your preferred thickness.
