How about orange pudding made with soy milk, instead of ordinary milk? It is healthier and more delicious.
INGREDIENTS
Orange600 g, Sugar150 g, Soy milk300 ml, Agar powder2.5 g, Salt2.5 g, Caramel60 g
TIPUnlike gelatin, agar powder is easily melted with heat. So, keep soy milk warm.
METHOD
- Peel off and remove seeds of oranges; blend finely.
- Pour the blended oranges into a sifter to make a smooth-texture orange juice.
- To make orange sauce, pour 500g orange juice in a pot with 100g sugar; boil it down at a low temperature for 30 minutes.
- Pour soy milk on a clean pot; put agar powder, salt, 50g sugar and remaining 100g orange juice; boil them until the agar powder is completely melted down.
- Put a bit of caramel extract in a pudding bottle; and pour the hot soy milk pudding slowly.
- Cook your pudding by placing the container in boiling water and heating it in the oven at 160°C for 10 minutes. After that, let it cool.
- Add the orange sauce on the pudding.
